Famous Sgt. Bob Smoke BBQ and Grill

Pennsville, NJ

Famous Sgt. Bob Smoke BBQ and Grill pairs American barbecue with Filipino cooking in Pennsville, and both share the menu as equals. Owner Lhot Odiem opened at 157 North Broadway in 2016, then moved down the street to a larger full-service space at 87 North Broadway in 2023. The Bob in the name is her husband, Salvador Balan, a retired Delaware Army National Guard sergeant. The beef brisket sandwich gets the headlines, alongside smoked half chicken, ribs, lumpia, and adobo platters. Hours and daily specials are posted on Facebook, so check before you go.
