Flame & Ember BBQ is a family-run roadside stand on Main Road in Vineland, owned by Ed Freed and open Fridays and Saturdays. Brisket, pulled pork, and turkey are smoked over South Jersey cherry wood, then served on grilled brioche buns or over house-made mac and cheese. Grandpa Hahn's Ribs with the signature red sauce lead the menu, and barbecue half-chickens appear on the last weekend of each month. Fries and cheese curds are cooked in beef tallow. Freed plans a first permanent location in Elmer, aiming for spring 2027.
