Michael's Backyard BBQ

Elizabeth, NJ

Michael's Backyard BBQ is a veteran-owned food truck that earned two wins at the BBQ Extravaganza — Best Food Truck 2022 and Best Ribs & Chicken 2023 — and the Texas-style approach behind those awards shows up in every order. Ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and a signature American Wagyu burger are the centerpieces of a menu built around precision and technique. The veteran ownership adds an extra dimension of pride and discipline to the operation that regulars notice and appreciate.
