The Real Deal BBQ

Glen Gardner, NJ

The Real Deal BBQ earned the #2 spot on NJ.com's Top 32 BBQ list — and anyone who's pulled up to their Route 31 food truck in Hunterdon County knows exactly why. The pulled pork sandwich has been singled out as the best in the state, and the brisket draws repeat visitors from across Central Jersey. This is authentic Southern BBQ at its most stripped-down: no frills, no shortcuts, just incredibly consistent craft from a pitmaster who knows exactly what they're doing. If you've never made the drive to Glen Gardner, it's one of the most rewarding BBQ detours in New Jersey.
